“History is a very sudden thing” deals with the fatal changes that unexpected events bring. The way in which they shift the course of things, creating new realities while shaping memory on an individual and collective level.

The now ruined- once flourishing land will clothe the roots of the human footprint and the commemorative, attempting to unite the visible and the invisible, with textile offshoots in a tender folding with the ruins.
