A fabric synthesis attempting to visualize the essence of escape and the need of liberation, the beginning of an eternal movement. Inspired by a dream, while in onfinement, to-and-fro is a poetic visualization of relief and hope. The sculpture itself reflects on the vulnerability of our existence and the deep need for a refreshing change. Composed from fabric, comforel, latex and wire,to-and-fro displays an asymmetric black knot with white birds soaring through it. The knot is made of black yet smooth fabric whereas the birds are made of white but harsh material. That contrast of material attempts to enrich the concept of dynamic sensation while underlining the foundation of any progress, the value and necessity of the individual and our collective memory
